Hand-carved wedding band pair in recycled 9/18k white gold.

A pair of sculptural bands exploring asymmetry, individuality, and connection. Formed by hand in wax and cast in recycled white gold, Bound exists as two related objects—distinct, yet in dialogue.

The Story

Bound forms part of Annie King’s ongoing investigation into relational forms and the ways individual bodies coexist within shared systems. Each band is shaped intuitively, allowing subtle irregularities to emerge as records of touch, time, and process.

Designed as a matched set without uniformity, the rings mirror one another while retaining their own character—suggesting partnership not as symmetry, but as resonance between difference. The surfaces carry the quiet traces of their making, embracing imperfection as a form of truth.

Size & Fit

Band width: approx. 4–6 mm
Available in any UK size. Each piece is made to order; subtle variations are inherent to the hand-carved process.

All metals are recycled or responsibly sourced. Production is intentionally small-scale and slow, prioritising longevity over trend-driven consumption.

AOK offers half and quarter sizing at no additional cost. If you cannot see your size, please select the closest one and specify your desired size in the “add order notes”.
