The bespoke journey

INITIAL CONVERSATION

We begin with a conversation — either in person in Glasgow or via video call — where we explore your ideas, inspirations, and intentions for the piece.

DESIGN AND COLLABORATION

Following our conversation, I will create a series of design sketches based on what we discuss — a true collaboration between your vision and my artistic interpretation.

COMMISSION AND CRAFTING

Once the final design is selected and a 50% deposit is placed, your bespoke piece moves into production.

TIMELINE

I take on a limited number of bespoke slots each month to ensure every project gets the attention it deserves. Most bespoke projects take between 6 to 12 weeks to complete, though this timeframe is a guide rather than a guarantee, as the creative process is unique to each commission.

Every bespoke journey begins with an idea — a story you want to tell, a moment you want to mark, or a memory you wish to honour.When reaching out, you don’t need to have all the answers — part of my role is to guide you.

However, to help us begin, it’s useful to consider the following:

Is there a story or emotion you wish to capture? Perhaps you have saved some reference images, these are a great place to begin.​​

​Are you drawn to a particular metal, such as yellow gold, rose gold, white gold, platinum, or silver? Would you like to incorporate specific gemstones, either sourced or sentimental?

TIMELINE AND BUDGET​

Is the piece intended for a special occasion (such as an engagement, anniversary, or heirloom project)? If there are important dates to consider, sharing them early ensures we can plan accordingly.​

A NOTE ON PRICING

ALL GOLD & PLATINUM BESPOKE PROJECTS BEGIN FROM £1000 AND SILVER PROJECTS BEGIN AT £500. YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH ME THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SHARE THE BUDGET YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH DURING THE INITIAL CONSULTATION.

DURING OUR DISCUSSIONS I WILL OFFER A BALLPARK FIGURE FOR THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE PROJECT. ALL BESPOKE WORK BEGINS WITH A 50% DEPOSIT OF THIS FIGURE IN ORDER TO BEGIN THE PROJECT.

AT THE END OF THE PROJECT THE EXACT COST OF MATERIALS AND TIME SPENT ARE CALCULATED.
