Booking & payment
By booking a workshop with Any Other Kingdom (AOK), you confirm that you have read and accepted the following Terms and Conditions.
Full Payment: To secure your place, full payment is required at the time of booking via our website / third party service such as Event Bright or Class Bento.
Confirmation: Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email with studio details and preparation instructions.
Cancellation & Refunds
Because AOK workshops are run on a small-scale, with limited spaces, the following policy applies:
Non-Refundable: Workshop bookings are non-refundable once purchased.
Rescheduling: If you give at least 14 days’ notice, I will do my best to transfer your booking to a future date, subject to availability.
Cancellation: In the rare event that AOK must cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., tutor illness or studio issues), you will be offered a full refund or a priority transfer to a new date.
Health & Safety
Risk Assessment: All workshops include a mandatory safety briefing. Guests must follow all instructions regarding the use of hand tools including files, blades and sand paper.
Attire: For your safety, you must wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. Avoid loose-fitting sleeves or dangling jewellery.
Liability: While AOK is covered by Public Liability Insurance, guests participate at their own risk. AOK cannot be held responsible for damage to personal clothing or injuries resulting from a failure to follow safety instructions.
The creative process
Materials: We exclusively use 100% recycled silver and gold. Unless specified in the workshop description, materials are included in the price. Upgrades to gold or the addition of ethically sourced stones may incur additional charges.
Skill Level: No prior experience is necessary to attend an in person AOK workshop experience.
PRODUCTION & COLLECTION
Casting Lead Times: If your piece requires professional casting after the workshop, please allow a standard lead time (typically 2–3 weeks) for finishing.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Workshops are designed for adults (18+). Participants aged 16–17 may attend if accompanied by a participating adult.
PRIVACY & IMAGERY
I may occasionally take photos or videos during the workshop for use on our YouTube channel or social media to share the "Story of the Making". If you do not wish to be filmed, please inform us at the start of the session.
